ONTARIO BLACK BEAR HUNTING

Showalter’s offers the serious Bear hunter an opportunity to harvest the Black Bear of a Lifetime. These Canadian wilderness monsters as they are sometimes referred to, roam freely throughout our region of Northwest Ontario.

The hunting areas are located on both the Southern and Northern borders of the huge Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. This is a natural feeding area to our Zone and is the reason for our high success rate of over 90%.

The hunt takes place out of tree stands (both fixed and portable) over active baits. We begin baiting in Mid-August to ensure that the baits are working well by the time hunters arrive in early September. Also included in this hunt is the ability to fish the great outpost camps that Showalter’s operates during the summer months.

7-day unguided black Bear Hunt including all airfare from our airbase located 17 miles north of ear falls, Ontario. This hunt also includes all bait stations, cabins, boats, motors, unlimited fuel, transportation of game, maps of hunting area and guidance on where to begin hunting.
